Generally, account will be automatically closed if there is no balance
in the account after six months (local currency) or 12 months (foreign
currencies). There is no service fee if there is no balance in the
account.
We note that your accounts were opened on 21 October 2023.
To maintain the account, please complete the verification of your
identity within 30 days by making at least one deposit:
From an existing Singapore bank account (non-OCBC)
Add your OCBC account as a payee and transfer funds to it via FAST/GIRO.
From a non-Singapore bank account
- Use Telegraphic Transfer: Add your OCBC account as a beneficiary and
use SWIFT code "OCBCSGSG"
- Use any remittance mode available to you locally
Please note that the sender's name must matches your name in our
records, in the exact same sequence.
We may have to close your accounts if we are not able to complete the
verification of your identity.
To check the sequence of your name in our records, please refer to the
account opening letter that we have sent.
